Iceland’s Celebrated Chef Gísli Matt Crafts a New Experience at Ylja

Gísli Matthías Auðunsson, who goes by Gísli Matt, is one of the most celebrated chefs in Iceland. Before joining Ylja Restaurant, he is best known for his restaurant SLIPPURINN in Vestmannaeyjar. At Ylja Restaurant, Gísli Matt brings his passion for incorporating modern techniques and flavors with classic Icelandic ingredients and traditions.
